About Åcon
Åcon is a science fiction convention that will be held from Thursday, May 17 to Sunday, May 20, 2007 in Mariehamn, Åland. The programming will start on Thursday & Friday at 4pm, Saturday at noon, and wind down with a few events on Sunday.
We intend to have a smallish, fun convention for the science fiction aficionado, in English. The membership fee is currently 20 € (see the members page for payment details). Our target size is roughly 100 attending members.

The Committee & The Staff
The committee consists of Eemeli Aro (chairman), Jukka Halme, Ben Roimola and Tero Ykspetäjä. In addition, we have staff to help us make the con happen, in which all the members are also invited to participate.
Our agent in Sweden is Anders Reuterswärd, in Norway Per Christian Jørgensen, Denmark Olav M.J. Christiansen and in the UK Hannu Rajaniemi.
