The venue for Åcon will be Hotel Adlon near Mariehamn Western Harbour. The hotel will provide the accommodation as well as the programming space, and of course the restaurant and bar.

We’re pleased to announce that our Guest of Honour is the British author Hal Duncan whose first novel Vellum has been praised all over. His second novel, Ink, is due to be published in February.

Åcon Dates Decided
September 23, 2006Åcon will be held from 17 to 20 May, 2007 in Mariehamn, Åland. The programming will start on Thursday & Friday at 4pm, Saturday at noon, and wind down with a few events on Sunday.
We’re aiming to arrange a con hotel for both the accommodation and the programming items; more info on that will follow later. Our target is 100 attending members.
